- BFD - Backflow Device License (2008 thru 2011)
Eric Raedel continues to be a CERTIFIED in BACKFLOW INSPECTION. This is just one more accolade that was conceived for ONE-STOP SERVICES.
This service is only available to MAGIC RAIN Clients.

- IST - Irrigation System Troubleshooting
Already a seven (7) year irrigation veteran, Matt Moraco joined the MAGIC RAIN TEAM in July 2004. Mr. Moraco obtained his IST certification for THE MAGIC RAIN TEAM in February 2005.

In March 2004, Michael Johnson, our Installation-Supervisor-In-Training completed the educational requirements & testing by our local authorized RAIN BIRD Service Center for EACH (shown above & below).

- National Leadership Award
On April 9, 2003, Eric Raedel's name was also published in the Wall Street Journal, Section A, as an Honorary Co-Chairman Business Advisory Council.

- BFD - Backflow Device License; Our Stand Alone Certifcation
In July 2002, Eric Raedel, again with the desire to be THE FIRST, obtained his license as a BACKFLOW INSPECTOR for the State of Ohio. Eric Raedel is now the ONLY Backflow Device licensed Irrigation Contractor in the entire Northeast Ohio area.

- Rain Bird Contractor Fly-In (by Invitation)
For March 2002, RAIN BIRD selected and invited some of their most prominent RAIN BIRD IRRIGATION CONTRACTORS from across the United States & Canada to tour Rain Bird's World Wide Headquarters & Facilities. This additionally provided these Contractors with the opportunity to exchange ideas and information that may better enhance one another.

- CLIA - Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor
In August 2001, Eric Raedel received his CLIA License. This CERTIFICATION requires the necessary & proven knowledge to troubleshoot all areas of any Irrigation Sprinkler Systems should one ever endure a problem.

- CIC - Certified Irrigation Contractor
On March 1, 2001, Eric Raedel, was the FIRST Irrigation Contractor in the entire Greater Cleveland area to obtain his CIC Licensing.
It was Eric's intention to raise the bar, for all of the area's local Contractors. We are thrilled to add that a few local Contractors have "followed suit" ensuring that our local communities have well educated (Certifiably Proven) Contractors to implement Systems, and to PROTECT our local water supplies.

- RAIN BIRD - Select Contractor
In PREVIOUS YEARS, a RAIN BIRD SELECT CONTRACTOR could be such simply by purchasing a large volume of parts. MAGIC RAIN had been "SELECT" since the beginning of 1994.
In January 2001, while attending the National Rain Bird Select Contractor Conference, Eric Raedel discussed the NEGATIVES of such with our Area Rain Bird Representative. The Rep forwarded this information to Rain Bird. Within 60 days of the Conference, Rain Bird had CHANGED their requirements. In order to be a RAINBIRD SELECT CONTRACTOR, the Contractor had NOW to be CERTIFIED.
Unexpectedly, Eric Raedel simulateously, was now the ONLY "recently Certified" (CIC) Select Contractor in the entire Cleveland area.
