Over our many years, Magic Rain has always followed the individual city codes.
If a Dual Check was utilized as your backflow device, please do NOT feel unprotected. The Dual Check does, much, the same work as the testable backflow devices. However, the Unit is installed INSIDE your home (per your city's CODE at the time of your installation).

possibly, to ensure your local water authority IN ABSOLUTE. You must NOT forget.....Not every sprinkler company offers our continued Services. We've seen many come & go over the years. Some are in business, strictly, for installations. After the (average) Contractor's STANDARD one-year Warranty (noting that MAGIC RAIN provides a MUCH BETTER WARRANTY), they are DONE. They are GONE.

Desription of a Dual Check Assembly
A Dual CK is nearly the equivalent of a Double Check Assembly. However, it is SMALLER in size.
A Dual Check Assembly consists of two (2) internally loaded, independently operating check valves together with tightly closing resilient seated shut-off valves upstream and downstream of the check valves. Additionally, there are resilient seated test cocks for testing of the assembly. The DC may be used to protect against a pollutant only. However, this assembly is suitable for protection against either backsiphonage or backpressure.
