The ordinance numbers pertaining to same are 531.23 & 531.24.
According to Jay MESSNER, Backflow Device Supervisor, of the CLEVELAND DIVISION of WATER.....
"ANYONE who utilizes the CLEVELAND DIVISION OF WATER DEPARTMENT as their water authority IS required to have an annual back flow device inspection done by a CERTIFIED BFD Inspector"*.
HOWEVER, please note that it is up to your local City and/or Twp. to have forwarded this information to the Cleveland Division of Water. Once made aware, the CLEVELAND DIVISION of WATER, will automatically mail you an Inspection Form each Spring.
* Eric Raedel, of MAGIC RAIN, is also a CERTIFIED BFD INSPECTOR. He will perform these inspections, as required, but ONLY for Clients of MAGIC RAIN.
