From his personal sales and installation experience, Eric Raedel came to the conclusion that no one was providing the highest quality of irrigation system service and installation possible. Together with his (NOW) wife Sandra, they decided to form a company dedicated to not only accomplishing that goal, but, to raising the bar of excellence for irrigation contractors throughout the State of Ohio as well. That was in 1988 and, in the following years, Magic Rain Lawn Sprinkler Systems, Inc. has raised the bar repeatedly, gaining the respect of their peers and the appreciation of their loyal clientele. "Magic Rain Lawn Sprinkler Systems, Inc. is an Irrigation Specialist, designing, servicing, and installing irrigation systems for homes and businesses. We've been designing and installing state of the art sprinkler systems since 1988. Our primary objective is to provide our customers with the most efficient, trouble-free sprinkler system available. To provide our customers with the quality design, installation, and service they've come to expect of Magic Rain, we're fully licensed, insured, and constantly involved in keeping our staff up to date on the newest technology through in-house training and continuing education. We provide unparalleled service from design through installation.
I'm a Certified Irrigation Contractor, and, also, a Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor. These two certifications are issued by The Irrigation Association, a non-profit, North American organization working to help shape the worldwide business environment of the irrigation industry. In addition, I'm certified in back flow prevention testing by the State of Ohio so I can provide required testing of back flow prevention devices. The Magic Rain staff also employs David Brooker, a ten year irrigation veteran and a Certified Irrigation Contractor. Presently, we're working to help every member of our Primary Team staff obtain their certifications in all these areas which will enhance our ability to serve not only our clients but also every community where we work.
An effective, efficient, trouble-free irrigation system is dependent on many design factors. Magic Rain designs the perfect system for each client by reviewing not only the numerous product, equipment, and installation choices, but also taking into consideration such critical details as pipe sizing and friction loss calculations, distribution uniformities, matched precipitation rates, and hydraulic calculations. We strive to design the most durable, high quality, high efficiency watering system possible to provide our customers with years of economical, trouble-free service. Our installation techniques are so refined that we can install an irrigation system while leaving the lawn looking virtually untouched. As you can see, properly installing a sprinkler system is more complex than simply placing pipes and sprinkler heads in the ground!
With underground lawn sprinkler systems, household water is used to water the lawn. Should there ever be a back siphonage, the lawn pesticides, fertilizers, and animal waste can be drawn back into the piping of the irrigation system and even into the water main itself. A back flow preventer is installed that prevents this from happening and yearly testing indicates that it's providing the proper level of protection.
